Backyard blue stone installation & new raised planter beds

Our client wanted to improve their backyard's look and usability, so we supervised installing bluestone over most of the backyard, turning the entire area into a usable patio. To accomplish this, we directed covering the area's existing gravel, grass, and dirt with an attractive and durable bluestone.  After completion, this area allows our client and their family to cook dinners, socialize, and gather without fear of creating a muddy mess or trampling down any lawn.

Garden apartment renovation

For this phase of the project, our client had a ground-floor apartment that couldn't be used as the floor was collapsing into the cellar. With the help of our architect and structural engineer, we designed a new floor plan that also involved removing a load-bearing wall to open up the space.

We completely gutted the ground floor and part of the cellar. We also replaced all of the floor joists and headers and added new structural steelwork to help support the three occupied floors above. Once the structural work was complete, we ran all new plumbing, electric, and central air to support the new full bathroom and kitchen.
